The Outpatient Department at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University

The Outpatient Department at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University (CQMU) was established in 2017 by Stomatological Hospital and the Third Affiliated Hospital of CQMU. The department is located on the second floor of the outpatient building of the Third Affiliated Hospital, covering an area of about 1000 m2, with 21 dental chairs and 3 VIP clinics. There are a total of 25 medical staff, who are assigned by CQMU-SH, including 13 doctors, all of who have master’s degree or above and 6 of who have middle or senior professional titles.

To build the department into a high-quality service platform that integrates oral examination, prevention, health care and treatment, the department has equipped with advanced medical devices according to the standard of CQMU-SH, including varied imported image equipment (like Cone-Beam CT (CBCT), panoramic machine and digital tooth film machine), painless injection instrument, root canal microscope, Nickel-titanium hot tooth filling system, minimally invasive periodontal therapy instrument, minimally invasive extraction instrument, high-frequency electric knife, cold light whitening instrument, implant treatment system, advanced instant teeth restoration system(CAD/CAM), etc.
