CQMU-SH First Received the Key Program of Regional Innovation and Development Fund of NSFC

Recently, National Natural Science Foundation of China released the review result of 2022 NSFC. The project presided by Professor Song Jinlin of CQMU-SH, was supported by Key Program of Regional Innovation and Development Fund with the direct fund of 2.55 million RMB. It is our first time to obtain this kind of research project.

The program, entitled the Function and Mechanism Research on LIPUS Combining with Intelligent CBR Material System Remodeling Periodontal Homeostasis on Type 2 Diabetes Periodontitis, aims to focus on homeostasis damage mechanism on type 2 diabetes periodontitis, explore the changes characteristics of periodontal microecology and key pathogens, and evaluate the efficacy of periodontal regeneration by LIPUS combining with intelligent material remodeling type 2 diabetes periodontitis, thus providing intelligent strategies for treating periodontitis with diabetes.

The key program of regional innovation and development fund of NSFC is jointly funded by NSFC and Chinese government, aiming to attract and collect excellent scientific and research forces to promote cross-departmental, cross-industrial, and cross-regional synergistic innovation, thus enhancing our independent innovation ability.

The breakthrough shows the great achievement of our basic scientific research work and the continuous advancement of our ability to undertake national great scientific and research projects, which provides a strong support for our connotative development and the construction of national oral regional medical center.
