Department of Prosthodontics (Shangqingsi Branch)

The Department of Prosthodontics of CQMU-SH, formally established in 1955, is one of the top-level prosthodontist programs in South-West of China, known for its advanced medical level and qualify services, as well as the cutting edge technology and dental science.

The department has currently 35 medical staff, including 24 physicians(2 director physicians, 3 associate director physicians,  12 with PhD degrees, and 7 with master’s degree). Some of the members had studied abroad, and can provide services for patients with advanced prosthodontics at home and abroad. Over the past 5 years, the department has published over 50 articles, including 22 SCI papers and 30 CSCD papers, and approved 9 national patents.

We provide a wide array of services to meet patient’s diverse needs, including ordinary movable partial dentures, precision attachment dentures, ordinary complete dentures, attachment dentures, fixed bridges, porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns, all-ceramic crowns, porcelain veneers, inlays, digital smile design, implant dentures, etc. Our department is equipped with advanced digital oral scanning instruments, fully adjustable articulators, and other devices. Our department regularly sends out doctors to learn new techniques and technologies at home and abroad, thus maintaining the high standards of our department across China.

Diagnosis and treatments include:

1.Restoration of dental crown: porcelain-fused-to-metal crown, all-ceramic crown.

2.Restoration of various denture: complete denture, implant supported denture, fixed denture, attachment denture, fixed bridge, etc.

3.Esthetic teeth restoration: veneers, inlays, etc.
